Week 2 of the Easter holidays has been just as fun packed as the first one.
We started the week with a visit to Gadget Show Live in Birmingham. I have always wanted to go but wasn’t that impressed by it as it was not as interactive as I was led to believe and the kids were soon bored so we headed home by lunchtime.
Monday saw us heading out to our favourite park before walking down to the beach which was surprisingly empty. There was a huge bank of sea mist on the horizon and the kids were fascinated as we watched it roll in. It seemed to envelope the beaches to our left and right before finally reaching us, eerily blocking out the sun.
On Tuesday I had my first taste of WWE live and loved every minute of it. I had thought it would be quite violent but it is pure pantomime and some of the acrobatics were amazing. It was Isaac’s first time watching too and we have a new fan – Daddy bought him the WWE magazine and he has read it front to back several times already.
On Wednesday we headed out to Farmer Palmers where the kids bottle-fed some lambs, groomed the ponies and played in their parks.
I spent Thursday catching up with washing and housework as we were heading off to Torquay on Friday for the weekend. We packed so much in that I am shattered and my legs hurt from walking around Paignton Zoo on Saturday before heading to Brixham to visit a replica of the Golden Hind and having a fish and chip treat in the harbour.
