We have had a few UK based holidays over the years but seem to always end up in Cornwall so we are keen for a change of scenery. My plan is to see as much of the UK as possible in the next few years and we have already added Staffordshire and Blackpool to our list so when Parkdean offered us a weekend break in Devon it was too good an opportunity to miss.
It feels like it has taken forever for this weekend to arrive but finally it is here and we are off to Torquay, which has been voted the top seaside destination in England for 2015.
We are looking forward to exploring the English Riviera which has an enviable 22 miles of coastline, although I am not sure we will have time to explore all of it.
We have tickets for Diggerland which I know the boys will adore and am toying with taking them to Paignton zoo, but I love exploring off the beaten track and as it is an area I am not familiar I need your recommendations of places to visit.
As for Parkdean itself, we are looking forward to splashing about in the pool, a spot of crazy golf and joining in the fun with the evening entertainment. I have it on good authority that the kids will have a blast as my friend Joanne from charliemoos went last year and had a whale of a time!
