We are Konfidence Swimologists!

“You may study all the “-ologies” of the world, but if you do not learn swimology, all your studies are useless.”

Regular readers of my blog will know that I am a firm believer that swimming is a vital skill, especially living by the coast, and my children have regular weekly swimming lessons, so when Sebby and I were invited to be Konfidence Swimologists we jumped at the chance.

Konfidence began in 1996 when Andy and Caroline Regan took their 5 children on holiday to Cornwall.  Their two eldest children were confident swimmers but their three little ones were keen, but not so confident.  Being a mum of 6 myself I know just how they would have been feeling trying to keep an eye on them all at the same time – it’s incredibly stressful and almost impossible!

During the holiday they got to use wetsuits and buoyancy aids which helped to keep the kids warm and afloat and out of this came the idea for a combination of buoyancy aid and wetsuit and the Original Konfidence™ Jacket was born, helping tens of thousands of children to learn to swim, and enjoy swimming and playing in the water since its launch.

The Konfidence range has certainly grown since then and as Konfidence Swimologists we will be reviewing some of their products, sharing our swimming journey with Turtle Tots, and even hosting a giveaway or two.

Konfidence

I cannot wait to test out the Konfidence Float Suit when we go on our Mark Warner Holiday in May as I am hoping it is going to help our family swims become stress free.

To celebrate Sebastian and I becoming Swimologists I have a £50 Konfidence voucher to giveaway to one lucky reader of my blog.

  1. I’d buy my little one a bodywarma in the next size up and a neoprene nappy cover in the next size up. We have our konfidence set in this size but she’s growing sooo fast!

  8. I’d get a pink Konfidence Youth Jacket for my niece – she’s 24 but due to disabilities fits into age 12 children’s clothes. She is a very poor swimmer but loves to spend time in the pool so this would be ideal for her and it would make me feel better about letting her go in the pool when we are on our holidays especially as her poor vision and hearing means she will often not see or hear warnings so when she does go in the pool I literally have to hover about a meter away from her (and shes a splasher!!!!)

This is the one I would choose in pink as it’s her fave colour 🙂 https://www.konfidence.co.uk/youth-jackets.html
