#Flying100 Family Holiday Challenge

My children are desperate to fly in an aeroplane and if you ask them where they want to fly to you get the same resounding answer from all of them……….. Florida!

The magic of Disney grabs you whether you are 1 or 100 and having visited Disneyland Paris last year they are eager to try out Disney World and Universal Studios in Florida.  If you let them loose with the iPad you will find them watching YouTube videos of all the rides they have to offer and of course Eliza is more than excited that Anna and Elsa are now there too.

We have visited Disneyland Paris twice – the first time in 2003 and again in 2013.  The Disney Parks are certainly somewhere you make memories and what could be a better place to host our last full family holiday.  I still smile when I look back at my now car obsessed teen, who threw a massive wobbly whilst watching the stunt show because he didn’t like the noise and at Kian, and subsequently Eliza who made me go on “It’s a Small World” everyday, at least twice! (You are humming the song now aren’t you?)

Disney Memories

Taking the family to Florida is not just a holiday that the little ones would enjoy.  Abbey, 21, still loves her Disney films and all the older kids would be challenging themselves by testing the rollercoasters.  Florida has so much to offer my adrenaline junkies with Busch Gardens and Universal Studios being home to some incredible rides – I might even try some out myself!

Hubby and I have always said that we would love to renew our vows at Disneyworld, although I am thinking a Harry Potter wedding would be magical and having all the kids being part of the day would be the icing on the cake.

We may not have been in the financial position to travel abroad with them when they were younger, but a dream family holiday to Florida would more than make up for it!

This post is an entry for the #Flying100 Family Holiday Challenge, celebrating how flying allows us to make memories and ‘be there’, in association with #Flying100. Find out more at http://bit.ly/flying100

  4. I am so with you on that one. We went to Disneyland Paris a few years ago and it was so magical. I would love to go to Florida but as I’m sure you know; for big families it is hugely expensive.

  5. My son has been talking about lately how much he would love to visit Disney World. I hope it will be possible before he’s too old to be interested.
