We were first introduced to the Total Turbo Takeover when we attended the Team Hot Wheels event day at Daytona Track in Sandown, where the kids were told to imagine themselves driving around the track as a hot wheels racer (without the loopy loops).

We were then sent the set to review and it was an instant hit with the teens and the little ones alike.  Kian and Callan took over the building of the track whilst Eliza and Isaac excitedly looked on.

We have the Hot Wheels Double Jump Duel set too which they started to build downstairs until it became apparent that Sebastian was not going to leave it alone, so they ended up building the giant mashed up track upstairs.

Now, I will admit that the tracks are noisy and I have put a pre – 9am ban in place, but they (and by they I mean ALL the kids) play with them for hours and you constantly hear cheers and shouts as the cars zoom around the track or crash.
