We all love a little luxury in our lives and I have to admit my head is turned by good quality, designer childrenswear however, I refuse to spend silly money on clothes that will last them all of a few months, or will get ruined.
I recently ran a competition for Half-Pint Chic to design a whole new wardrobe for the winner and I was intrigued by their site which is an exclusive outlet store, offering designer clothes for babies and children.
They stock many of the leading brands at up to an impressive 70% off RRP with new arrivals being regularly added. The also advise that stock is limited so for the best bargains, sign up to receive their sales alerts.
Half Pint Chic stocks clothing and accessories for babies and children from the age of newborn to 9 years. The website is easy to navigate, allowing you to search by age, sex, brand or clothing type. What I really like about the site is the personal touch. In the past I have found that designer labels can come up small (or large) and Half Pint Chic makes it clear if this is the case.
On one item I put into the basket for Isaac I noticed it said it came up very large, so I changed my mind as Isaac is small for his age.
I placed my order around lunchtime and received it beautifully wrapped the very next day.
Since our holiday to Rhodes, Sebastian is obsessed by planes so I just had to get him these adorable pyjamas. I also invested in a snuggly fleece hoody for when the cold weather hits us.
The sizing for his age is 1-2 which is quite a wide bracket, I would have preferred a split at 18 months like most brands. The pyjamas fit him beautifully but the jacket comes up large – still the one thing that is guaranteed is that babies grow and I am sure if will fit him in the blink of an eye.
