Local Small Business would like to meet successful blogger to develop outreach programme, increase brand awareness and product development
Lemur LinkUp, local Networking group held at Lemur Landings Soft Play, Tower Park Poole has been growing rapidly each month since conception last year. What started as networking and marketing training/support for local businesses/blogger predominately working from home has turned into a valuable resource attracting up to 30 attendees each month.
The blogger-business match up event will be held on 6th October 7.30pm – 9.30pm with networking, nibbles and drink provided. The evening is all about getting business and bloggers to find their perfect match in order to form a working relationship.
Many businesses aren’t aware of how bloggers can add a tonne of value to their business. From honest feedback to driving product development and acting as fantastic ambassadors for their products and services, all of which is PR that money just can’t buy.
Local Award Winning small business owner Christina Pengelly said “As a brand new website, WareStreetMarket.com is really looking forward to meeting influential bloggers. The creative ideas that come from bloggers will help reach a whole new audience. WareStreetMarket.com is hoping to provide a platform for guest bloggers to enhance our current Blog and create a truly crafty community.”
Lemur Link Up is run by 4 successful small business/blogger mums – Joanne Dewberry Dorset Business Mother of the Year 2010, Jackie Richmond of Splashdown and Lemur Landings, Kara Guppy successful blogger who works with both local and multi national brands and Emma Collins PR manager at docrafts.
Emma Collins, explains; “As social media has developed, so has the way businesses do their marketing. Honest feedback from real people can contribute to how consumers make a decision to buy. As four business mums who understand this method well, we decided that we would join together to create something in support of small businesses in our local area.”
Local bloggers attending come from a variety of genre including parenting, lifestyle and craft. Small Business include Farmer Palmers, Urban Reef and newly established Bournemouth based Postsnap and Colour me Wellies.
