Brand new to Frugi is their fabulous range of coats and we were lucky enough to be sent the Megan coat for Eliza to review.
Their girls’ (and boys’ ) coats have a water resistant outer layer with super snuggly wadding and soft fleece lining on the inside, all made from 100% recycled fibres! The girls coats, available in Raspberry and Daisy Owl print and the boys, available in Navy Blue or Fireman Red with Star print also feature reflective print daisies or stars on the back, arms and pockets, adjustable popper cuffs and a secret pocket!
Eliza chose the Megan coat in Daisy Owl Print and it is a gorgeous design. We really put the coat through its paces this Bank Holiday Monday during the torrential rain and the kids looked so cute that we were stopped for a brief photocall with Bournemouth Echo and they were subsequently featured both on their website and in the actual paper on pages 1 and 3!
The coat kept Eliza warm and dry despite the unpleasant conditions although I should have out her in wellies too as she insisted on jumping in every puddle she could find.
The coat itself has reflective daisy’s on the front and back, so when the evenings start closing in I am confident she will be seen. It also has two small pockets on the front which can hold a pair of gloves, or the treasure she tries to sneak into school and has a lovely warm and snuggly fleece lining to keep her warm when it gets really chilly.
A massive thanks must do to Bournemouth Echo who take this amazing video of Isaac and Eliza singing and dancing in the rain. It is too cute not to share!

What gorgeous coats – I especially love the owls! I will have to have a look at one for my daughter as winter will be here before we know it!

I love the idea that they have recycled fibres in them. Very clever design with the reflective daisies as well.
Those are really sweet and look very good quality too! The owls are my favourite.

Great review. I totally understand Eliza jumping in every puddle. Glad the coat kept her upper body warm and dry at least.
