Project 365 2014 – Week 17

As much as I enjoyed the Easter break and having the kids at home, I have to admit that I was more than ready for them to go back to school.

Eliza was 3 in January and just missed the cut off for her nursery funding, so this week saw her start 15 hours of pre-school.  We also potty trained her over the Easter holidays so I was a little nervous having accidents but she did brilliantly and loved every minute of going to “big school”.

Wednesday saw Isaac turn 6.  Most people know he adores Skylanders and he got loads, so I was surprised to see him pick a plain blue bike instead of a Skylanders one when we went bike shopping that evening.

Here is our week in pictures:

week 17

110.  Easter Sunday was a washout so we chilled at home and Daddy got the ball pit down from the loft for Sebastian.  Sadly it was covered in mildew so we improvised with a paddling pool instead

111.  We went to Beaulieu and had a fantastic time looking at all the Top Gear cars and exploring the grounds

112.  Back to school today.  Eliza has successfully been dry for a week and she chose a Rapunzel hair band as her special present

113.  Isaac’s 6th birthday.  After bike shopping we went to Pizza Hut for dinner

114.  Eliza’s first full day at pre-school.  She was extremely proud of her lunchbox

115.  Sebastian plays his piano

116.  Isaac had a phaser party at our local softplay centre, Lemur Landings.  Soft play + guns + boys (and girls) made for a very successful party!

  1. Looks like it was a great week, and well done Eliza. We also toilet trained over the Easter weekend too, and our free hours kicked in after Easter as well – damn those January birthdays for just missing out!
