#gogreen Blog Trail and Giveaway

The gorgeous team at BumpPR have organised another fantastic blog trail, with the chance to win fabulous organic goodies and I am giving away not one, but two prizes.

The first is a Drool Monkey.

Back in November I reviewed the fantastic Drool Monkey –  a truly unique teether, providing a 100% organic and safe solution for babies teething needs.

No toxic dyes, chemical flame retardants, or synthetic fabrics make this the ideal comforter for little ones to drool over!  Not only can little ones suck and chomp on monkey, you can tie ice in the fabric to create the ultimate soother for gums and you can also tie knots in the four corners to provide something else to chew on or simply as a comforter to fiddle with, plus it also comes with a little rattle for added amusement.

It is still a much loved and used item with Sebastian and because it attaches to his pram / car seat it is the one teether we take out with us as I know it won’t get lost.

The second item in my giveaway is a Tushi Stick.

Loveys

A brand new, completely revolutionary nappy ointment has arrived in the UK. The Lovey’s Tushi Stick comes in a unique stick applicator, making it super easy for parents to use, and is ideal to use with cloth nappies too!

The idea for Tushi Stick was thought up by Canadian Mum, Marcie Weinstein Smith, who wanted a 100% natural, chemical free solution for her son’s nappy rash.  Marcie realised that getting diaper ointment under your finger nails and having to reach for a towel while trying to change a wriggling baby’s diaper was a nuisance, and that a stick would be a much better solution for parents and babies! The Tushi Stick, which was developed with a chemist, has already gone down a storm across the pond, and set to do just the same here in the UK.

Using a stick applicator is so convenient for Mum or Dad, it won’t spill or leak and protects and heals the skin.  As parents won’t have to go back and forth between the stick and baby’s bottom, as they would with a tube or tub, there is reduced risk of cross-contamination! Perfect for keeping nappy changes, clean, safe and healthy! It’s absolutely ideal for popping into a changing bag and using whilst out and about, although parents will love it so much, they’ll want to use it at home too!

Tushi Stick

Not only is Lovey’s Tushi Stick extremely convenient, it’s also best for baby.  Founder Marcie was adamant that it should contain absolutely no chemicals or nasties, and as a result has created a lovely natural ointment made from a gorgeous blend of natural and essential oils. Just some of the wonderful oils you’ll find in a Tushi Stick are calendula, apricot, coconut, sweet almond, avocado, grapeseed, jojoba and rosehip – as a result it smells pretty amazing! The oils work in harmony to reduce inflammation, tone, soothe and moisturise skin to make it super soft and peachy.

Lovey’s doesn’t “claim” to be natural and then “sneak in chemicals”.One thing is for sure, you won’t find anything artificial in a Tushi Stick! Parents can be completely confident that the natural remedy will work its magic and is extremely effective.  This new baby product has been tested in a lab and came out clean after being infected with 5 strains of bacteria!  Lovey’s Tushi Stick has enough natural preservative to kill the nasty bacteria on the stick and on the baby’s skin. This just proves that you don’t need chemicals to soothe sensitive skin! Although designed as a nappy ointment, the Tushi Stick can actually be used on any kind of dry and chafed skin, and Canadian customers have claimed that it soothed their eczema, eases windburn and scrapes. It truly is a miracle product!

Fiona Brebner founder of Cinnamon Sue, the team who has brought the Tushi Stick to the UK commented, ‘This is an amazing product and it has been so successful abroad, that I am sure parents here will love it just as much. Once you start using a stick instead of a tub or tube, you really don’t look back. We’re really excited to introduce it to a new audience and can’t wait to hear what parents think!’
