Have you ever built the perfect wooden train set for your child and then been frustrated that the final piece just won’t quite fit together?
I know I have, and you end up having to take it apart again and try and re-jig the pieces.
The problem has now been solved by Bigjigs Crazy Track.
Crazy Track comes as a pack of 2 pieces. The track is flexible and adaptable so they allow you to join pieces of track together that might otherwise have been a problem.
The Crazy Track is made from rubber wood and it is compaitble with other leading wooden railway systems, making them a great additon to any wooden railway collection.
Isaac and his friend Alfie couldn’t wait to get building and I soon had a track that stretched from the dining room into the lounge. Even the teens joined in with the building of the track!
As part of this Play Patrol Mission, we were also sent the Duchess of Hamilton train to review which is part of the Bigjigs Rail Heritage Collection which offers a delightful range of replicas from the golden age of rail.
The packaging includes information about the evolution and working life of the engine, upon which the replica is based.
Magnetic couplings ensure compatibility with all other engines and carriages in the Bigjigs Rail range, the Duchess of Hamilton consists of 2 play pieces.
The Heritage Collection is perfect for any young train fans (and their Dad’s).
This is our final Play Patrol Mission and we have loved our time working with Bigjigs and will remain fans for life. Keep an eye on the Bigjigs Facebook page as they will be recruiting their new agents very soon.
What a beautiful toy! One to hand down in the future too! 🙂
What a brilliant idea!! At last! It’s always really hard to get the last few pieces to fit together. I love this. We are really big wooden train set fans, you can’t beat them.
What a great track!! We have a whole tub full of the wooden set as my daughter loves trains and i have the same problem, i set up a great track and cannot get it to connect x
ah Wilf would love this! x
Haha we’ve never had that problem – think we have so much train track so there’s always so much left! Lovely train & track though x
That looks like wonderful fun – we have a wooden train set that JD played with when he was small and now Miss J is getting lots of use out of it 🙂
We have been meaning to get a train set for J for a while now, and this looks like it will do nicely x
OMG! My husband is going to be so happy to find out about crazy track! We are forever having to shift track around that doesn’t ‘quite’ work! What a utterly brilliant idea from Big Jigs, thank you!!!
The crazy track is a great idea! My boys love making tracks but this could definitely ease frustration a bit when making a master piece of a track and finding out it needs to be adjusted
That is such a brilliant idea! It is so frustrating when you can’t get those last couple of bits to fit! Just brilliant!
That looks like great fun. I even think my girls would love that.
These look such great quality and I know that problem, always happens to us and then my son loses interest so this is a brilliant idea.
That is genius! Will have to get some to add to our collection!
That does look like great fun x
What a brilliant idea, inspired in fact! Although we have a girl we’ve put plenty of our nephews tracks together and they’ve not fitted! Great post Kara, sounds like a brilliant set 🙂
Brilliant idea – thanks for sharing x
Everybody loves a wooden train!! I know we do in our house although we are forever losing bits of track!
looks like lots of fun! yay for flexi track!! x
That looks so much fun.
I hoping Harry passes the track breaking stages soon so we can play more
I love traditional wooden toys and train sets so this would be a big hit with me 🙂
It looks great.
I know a little monkey who would just love to have it
