If you follow my blog you will know that my kids and I are all proud owners of scooters and we quite like to pimp them up. Isaac was the first to own a scooter and he has had a blue Scoot Beamz on it since the beginning but I have recently been sent one to review for Eliza’s scooter.
Scoot Beamz are fun, bright lights, which will keep your little scooter visible when you are heading home. They are easy to attach, you just need to wrap the strap around the pole of your scooter and fasten tight – simple.
Initially I thought the Scoot Beamz was just a reflector until one day Isaac pressed the button on the front. It activated the light and you simply press again for different settings and to turn off. The light has three settings – fast flash, slow flash and constant.
The batteries last 50 hours and the lights and can be replaced but it is quite fiddly. The material is very reflective even when the light isn’t on which helps keep your little one seen which is perfect this time of year when it is dull and dreary outside.
Scoot Beamz are made by the people behind the ingenious Scoot N Pull and you can follow them on twitter here for more information and offers
The lights are a great idea, especially at this time of year when you want the children to be as bright as possible. Thanks for sharing
They look great! We love our scooters 🙂 and have the full age range – almost never cycle!
I love your pimped up scooters. Mine would love that – anything with flashing lights!! Hmmm, might be time to pimp up our scooters!! 🙂

What a great idea. I love the idea of keeping the kids’ scooters bright and well-seen.
These look great and F could definitely do with one for his scooter, I’m always worried about cars not seeing him when we cross over the road. I think I’ll be investing in one of these x
I love that you have an adult one too. Aaron needs a new scooter x
These look like a lot of fun. Shiny lights are a huge hit anyway!
