I have yet to meet a child that doesn’t like bubbles.
In the summer we have great fun in the garden with our bubble machine which we suspend from the washing line as it literally fills the garden with bubbles to chase, catch and burst.
Drumond Park have taken this idea and created the Bubble Buster Kazoo Game and we were sent one to review.
The great thing about this game is it only needs two players, although you could add more if you wanted too. This is a perfect ‘run-around’ indoor or outdoor game which has little ones jumping for joy amid squeals of excitement and laughter!
One player takes the kazoo bubble blower and creates wonderful streams of beautiful bubbles complete with cool sound accompaniments.
The other player dashes around bursting as many bubbles as he or she can with a well aimed, purposeful prod of the smiley, two-pronged wand.
When the time is up, the smiley wand plays a short, triumphant tune and it’s time for the children to swap over. The oh-so-clever magic wand keeps track of both scores and announces the winner at the very end of the game. Sheer magic and wonder… especially through a child’s eyes!
It did take a while for the kids to learn that they had to catch the bubbles rather than swipe them, but they were having so much fun that I don’t think they actually cared who had won.
The wand takes 2 AAA batteries (not included) and makes a loud “Ping” noise when it catches a bubble. You need to make sure both horns touch the bubble to get a “ping” and it counts how many you catch each round. The Kazoo is a great addition as it is easy to blow – even for Eliza. Not only do you get the fun noise, but bubbles too and at RRP £9.99 it is great value too!
Drumond Park have kindly given a Bubble Buster Kazoo Game to giveaway to one of my readers.
