I have to admit that when it comes to school uniform I don’t like to break the bank. I always invest in good quality school shoes, but like to save elsewhere.
Being an ex-Tesco employee I have always bought uniform from them, but this year George at Asda gave us the opportunity to review their uniform.
Perusing their website I was immediately impressed by the range, especially for teenagers who are more and more image conscious these days. They had a slim fit Blazer which is perfect for Kian and Callan and co-ordinating slim fit trousers. The best bit is the price though – prices start from £11 for the blazer and £5 for the trousers.
First Day back to school |
For Kian I have also got a pack of two short sleeved shirts and a pack of two long sleeved shirts for when the weather changes. Having washed these I am impressed that they don’t need ironing which is always a bonus.
For Isaac we chose white polo shirts (from £2.50) and boys flat front trousers (from £3) with an adjustable waist in age 4-5. Both are still a little big, but I have no doubt he will grow into them very soon.
The boys approve |
I have been very impressed with the quality so far and all items I can get away without ironing. I will do an update though further into the school year to let you know how they are withstanding everything my boys throw at them.
