For those of you that follow me on twitter and instagram, you will be aware that my daughter is obsessed with loves Peppa Pig.
We have cuddly characters, books, DVD’s and clothes all featuring the lovable pig and her friends and are even annual pass holders for Paulton’s Park – the home of Peppa Pig World!! (it is only half an hour away from our front door).
I first heard of Penwizard just before Christmas last year, but as Eliza wasn’t yet two and still had a penchant for ripping pages in books I decided not to invest in a book at the time.
Penwizard produce children’s personalised books and one of their most popular range is Peppa Pig and I couldn’t turn down the offer of a book for Eliza to review.
I was asked to provide her name, hair colour, hair style, eye colour and skin tone and was over the moon when the book arrived!
Eliza has just started swimming lessons, so this book is perfect – Peppa and her family go swimming with her, but George is scared and we find out if George learns to love swimming as much as Peppa and Eliza do.
Eliza was so excited when she realised that it was her in the book with Peppa and pointed to each picture telling me what she was doing!
The book is beautifully illustrated and has a full gloss cover, with lovely thick paper pages which will stand the test of time. It is quite a large book at 21cm x 28cm, which Eliza loved as the pictures are bigger. You can even get them in hardback too!
Prices start at £14.99 for the paperback and £19.99 for the hardback, which I think is very reasonable for the quality and workmanship that has gone into this book.
Eliza insists on this book as her bedtime story, and I can’t wait to get her another one, although I am hoping they will bring out her other favourite – Ben & Holly. Other characters they do are Roary, Noddy, Fifi and the Flowertots, A Princess, A Footballer and a a Wizard.
If your child loves Peppa – they will love this book!!
