When I was offered a Milton Mini Portable Soother Steriliser to review, I nearly turned it down as none of my children have ever used a soother. Not because I don’t like them, but they never wanted them!
However, as I am now a childminder and two of the children I mind for have soothers I decided it would be a good thing to have.

This 100% watertight soother steriliser is simple and quick to use. Before leaving home, simply fill the Milton Mini with cold water and add one Milton Mini Sterilising Tablet. The unique sponges inside the Mini absorb the solution to avoid spills as well as helping remove dirt from the teat. Add the soother, replace the watertight lid and after only 15 minutes the soother is sterilised and ready to use straight away with no need to rinse. |

You can reuse the same solution throughout the day and the adjustable strap means you can attach the Mini to your buggy or change bag so you can make sure you always have a sterilised soother to hand.

Please note: When opening the Mini don’t be alarmed if it appears damp inside….. It’s supposed to be. The Steriliser is filled with 5ml distilled water to keep the sponges moist.

It is so simple to use too!
Simply:
- Remove the sponges
- Fill the Milton Mini to the line with water
- Add 1 mini sterilising tablet
- Place the sponges back in, ensuring the holes align
It couldn’t be easier!!
To sterilise the soother, just pop the teat into the holes in the sponges, screw the top on and leave for 15 minutes.
The soother can stay in the Milton Mini for up to 24 hours, so it is perfect for keeping a spare soother in, if on your travels or a day out. It even has a Handle which will easily attach to a buggy handle or changing bag so it doesn’t get lost.
I went out with it yesterday, just to the local park, and was asked twice where to get it from by parents with little ones with soothers after we had a soother dropping incident. It is a fabulous idea and will be an addition to my changing bag when for when I am out and about with the mindees.
