I have been tagged by Donna at Mummy Central who asks what is it about kids and the never-ending ”Why?”
Mine drive me mad at times with:
“Why do we have to go shopping?”
“Why can’t I have that big bar of chocolate before dinner?”
“Why can’t I play Xbox for 24 hours solid?”
you catch my drift………….. anyway, here is a tirade of my own:
Why can’t you sleep from 7pm to 7am and give me a full nights uninterrupted sleep?
Why do you have to announce loudly (several times), that you are going for a wee-wee?
Why do you never need a wee when I ask you to go, but announce 5 minutes later that you are desperate when we are nowhere near a toilet
Why do you insist on climbing half way up the slide when you know you can’t get up the rest of the steps without help from mummy
Why do you run off when I am trying to get you into a clean nappy and then proceed to wee on the floor
Why is it that you are playing nice and quietly until the phone is in my hand and then you proceed to shout Mummy very loudly
Why do I know all the words to Baby Jake and Raa Raa the Noisy Lion
Why can’t a day go past without an argument
Why is my handbag full of tissues, nappies, baby wipes and toys
So those are mine – well some of them as I am sure I could think of lots more!!

Oh why do you argue every day – I missed that one (or why do you argue all day would be more fitting for mine)! I love the slide one, we insist on climbing up slide whilst another is in process of whizzing down – CRASH! x
