Advent calendars have changed in recent years, with chocolate calendars being sidelined in favour of something more exciting.
My kids have already been perusing the Smyths catalogue and looking online to find their ideal calendar and I have popped some of their wish list ideas below.

For Harry Potter Fans
I have found a few Harry Potter advent calendars on my searches and these are my favourites.
I fell in love with the Harry Potter Magical Infinity Advent Calendar at BlogOn in September.
At £58.99 it is not the cheap option, however, it truly is magical with its unique moving design. For Small World Lovers
Small world play encouraging children to use their imaginations and create both everyday and fantasy worlds and there are a plethora of advent calendars out there to support this.

For Early Years, Playmobil is a big hit and the contents of our old advent calendars are still played with to this day.
