All the fun of the fair at Folly Farm

As part of my role as the Britmums Family Days Out editor I have read and included many posts about Folly Farm and have been itching to visit for some time. Over half term we enjoyed a short break at Bluestone and with Folly Farm a short 15 minute drive away, this was our chance to visit. We arrived at opening time and couldn’t wait to start exploring everything that it had to offer and we certainly weren’t disappointed. We… Continue Reading “All the fun of the fair at Folly Farm”

A Medieval Siege at Arundel Castle

Arundel Castle

Over half term we were invited to a Castle Siege at Arundel Castle which was led by historical interpretation troupes including Raven Tor Living History Group, The Wessex Medieval Alliance and The Company of St Barbara. We arrived nice and early to enjoy the picturesque walk up to the castle where we found medieval camps had been… Continue Reading “A Medieval Siege at Arundel Castle”
