Joules Wyndfall Marine 3-in-1 Jacket Review

I was really disappointed to find that my old winter coat has a huge tear in it when I took it out of the coat cupboard – who knows how that happened.

It left me searching for the perfect winter coat.

My requirement were that it was warm, waterproof, as I walk to and from school daily, whatever the weather and was long enough to cover my bottom.

I narrowed it down to a shortlist of two, however, it was the Joules Wyndfall Marine 3-in-1 jacket that won my heart.

What sold it to me was the fact that is a 3-in-1 coat which can be worn three ways.

For cool dry days, the teal coloured padded inner jacket is perfect for keeping you warm and is in my favourite colour. For cool, wet days, the soft, peached cotton, 100% waterproof navy jacket is ideal for keeping you dry.

The coat has an adjustable waist, large front pockets and a large faux fur trimmed hood – perfect for hiding under when the weather turns nasty and when extra warmth and protection is required, zip them both together for double the warmth and protection from the elements.

Wyndfall Jacket

I have to say I am really impressed with the coat, although I have only worn it zipped together so far as it is been rather chilly of late.

Joules Wyndfall Jacket

It kept me snug and warm on a bitter day down at the beach, dry and cosy on a cold and wet day at Paultons Park and dry on a school run in the torrential rain.

I am confident that this jacket will keep me warm and dry in all the elements that the British weather will throw at me this winter, right through to spring and even summer.

  1. I LOVE Joules clothing, it’s always such good quality (Bavarian people are always asking me where stuff is from as they don’t really sell much here!). My first stop for my kids clothes too! This coat looks lovely! 🙂

  2. You can’t live in the UK and not have a good, sturdy winter coat. You can’t hibernate! There are too many nice things to see outside in the winter. I’m glad you found something that will help you brave the ice, cold & snow!

  3. I was in Joules in Ludlow the other day, and bought a scarf for my husband. I am always in the Cardiff branch. I have a beautiful Joules duvet set with flowers and birds on it.

This coat looks lovely and warm, a great design for the cold weather.

  4. I have a Joules coat I bought a few years ago and it is still by far the best coat I have ever owned. It always gets lots of compliments but of all of my coats its the one that keeps me warm on the coldest of days. In fact, I’ve raved about it so much my Mum has just bought herself a Joules coat on my recommendation 🙂
