Radio Controlled Inflatable Lightening McQueen Review

Sebastian is Cars mad, or should I say Disney Cars mad!

His bedroom is decorated with all the characters including favourites Mater and Lightening McQueen. He is collecting every single variation of Mater from Maters Tall Tales, with Tokyo Drift Mater being his favourite so far as it does donuts on the floor and has a favourite Lightening McQueen pyjamas that he wears ALL the time.

With this in mind, when we were offered a Radio Controlled Inflatable Lightening McQueen to review, I knew Sebby would be in his element.

It arrived deflated and thankfully does not take too much puff to blow it up. It also requires 6 x AA batteries – 2 for handset and 4 for the drive unit (not included).

I did think it was odd having just two small wheels, but it is so light it will drive over anything and couldn’t be simpler to operate, even for 3 year old Sebby. Simply press the circle up to go forwards and down to turn a corner and even do donuts.

This jumbo R/C Inflatable Lightning McQueen is 48cm long and also comes with real engine sounds which, thankfully, you can switch off if you want to.

R/C Inflatable Lightening McQueen is available from Bladez Toys for an RRP of £24.99. The range of inflatable R/C toys also includes BB8, Thomas, Baymax, Arlo, R2D2 and many more.

  1. I’ve never seen a Remote Controlled inflatable before. Such a simple but brilliant idea! The car looks bright and faithful to the character. There’s nothing worse than getting a toy based on a movie character and it looks nothing like it! I’m also happy to hear that the sounds can be turned off!
    Good find!
