The Halloween Dressing Up Alternative

I have always enjoyed celebrating Halloween.

As a child we went trick or treating with my mum around our local area, raising money for our local hospice St Bridgets. The residents all knew we were coming and presented us with tricks – normally crushed ice or a bag full of slimy jelly and we always had lots of fun whilst raising money for a great charity.

Trick or treating is also something the kids have enjoyed too, although it is almost impossible to collect for a charity as all people have are sweets to giveaway – I don’t think the kids are complaining though.

This year, with the ‘killer clown’ craze going around my kids do not want to dress up in anything scary or go trick or treating as they are worried about what they may see so we have had to find alternative Halloween plans.

Thankfully the school came to the rescue by holding Monster Ball, but what were the kids to wear?

Want that Trend? has introduced a range of ghoulish themed swing dresses perfect for a Monster Ball or Halloween party.

Eliza’s dress drew lots of positive comments last night with people remarking what a lovely idea it was. What’s more, at £14.95 it was cheaper to buy than Isaac’s Ghostbuster costume too.

The swing Halloween swing dress starts at age 0-3 months for children and goes all the way up to adult size 22!

We have lots of Halloween events planned for this week and I can see I will struggle to get it off her to wash it!
