I am very fair skinned and one sign of the sun and I burn unless I smother myself in suncream.
I am very concious of the kids being out in the sun and have always prided myself in ensuring they are well covered in UV suits and sun cream so I was super excited when one of my favourite clothing brands, Frugi, launched their new Sun Safe Range for kids.
If you have not heard of Frugi before they are a UK based company that designs clothes that children really do love to wear with great designs, vibrant colours and cute Frugi characters!
Whether it’s paddling in the sea, splashing through muddy puddles or playing in the park, their clothes are designed to be long-lasting and durable, so kids can be kids. The Frugi clothing that Isaac has now grown out of has been put away for Sebastian as it still looks as good as new.
Frugi also use supersoft organic cotton for their clothes making sure that little ones are comfy, safe and happy. The breathable qualities in organic cotton make it much kinder to baby’s and children’s delicate skin and much less likely to trigger those horrible allergies
Now, with their new swimwear range, I can keep Sebby protected from the sun this summer with the Oeko-Tex and UPF 50+ set.
The set contains a long-sleeved rash vest, in a fab Frugi Pirate Fish print, and coordinating long shorts. With flat seams and a high neckline this set is super soft and comfy. The set also comes in a Seaside Flower Spot design for girls.
I have fallen in love with the new Frugi Swimwear range and will be investing in some more pieces in time for fun at the beach and our holiday later this year for Isaac and Eliza too.

Ooh look! He looks so cute. I love that these are long sleeved – must be such a relief as a parent to know they’re well protected with all the SPF. I had no idea clothes could have a SPF rating so this is a whole new world to me! Can’t wait to take our little one on some water-beach adventures!
