Glamming up the Wardrobe with Amy Childs

Do you ever look at your wardrobe and sigh?

Mine used to be packed full of lovely, fashionable clothes when I worked in an investment bank but these days all that hang on the rails is a couple of pairs of jeans and a smart black suit that I keep for funerals. In fact Eliza’s wardrobe is far better than mine and she has so many lovely clothes that she is taking mine over too.

Working with children my wardrobe staples are only ever going to be jeans and a top but it is nice to get a babysitter and glam up for an evening out – something that doesn’t happen often enough for my liking.

I was offered a stunning bodycon dress from amychildsofficial.co.uk to review, but sadly I am was not brave enough to try one on. Thankfully they had a plan b and sent me a pair of flattering wide-leg trousers and a pretty pussy bow blouse instead

I find designer clothes normally come up on the small side but I was reassured that Amy’s collection was made for real women and comes up true to size. The trousers feature a fitted high-waistband and fit me perfectly and the pussy bow blouse is loose-fitting and doesn’t cling to my tummy which is my main problem area.

The items are well made from lovely fabric and I was pleasantly surprised by how reasonably priced they are too. If you are quick you can even get 20% the collection using the voucher code MUM20 at the checkout.

I would never have considered checking out the Amy Childs collection before now as I assumed it was only for the young, but I will certainly shop with her again. In fact the Poppy dress may have just fallen into my basket!

Emmy’s Mummy has reviewed the Caroline Dress and have to say looks amazing – maybe I will try a bodycon dress next time!
