LEGO® Friends Pop Star Party

Last month LEGO® Friends threw an exclusive party at LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort and it was officially the hottest party in town this autumn with hair stylists, glitter tattoos, nail painting, a photo booth, karaoke, disco hosted by Fun Kids Radio and of course plenty of opportunities to build with the latest LEGO® Friends sets and we were lucky enough to be invited.

Unlike other events we have been to, this was held at the end of the day so we got to explore the park before getting the party started. We arrived nice and early keen to see as much of the park as possible, but being a lovely warm sunny day it was soon really busy.

We started with our favourite ride, Atlantis, where we got to take a submarine journey to the lost city and see lots of sea creatures as we went on our journey and then headed for the boats where we giggled as the kids insisted on driving us around in circles.

As we had Nanny and Mollie with us we explored parts of the park we don’t normally venture too and found a fabulous playground and picnic area in Knights Kingdom where we stopped for a picnic lunch.

We then found the trains for Sebastian, although forgot that you got wet on the safari one and he was not impressed by a face full of water!

The girls were itching to visit the new Heartlake City and loved exploring Olivia’s House and all the LEGO Friends playsets. We heard a bit of commotion outside so headed out to see what was going on and found the Heartlake City characters performing where we normally see the pirate show around the lake.

Of course Eliza and Mollie were in their element as they watched and sang along with Mia, Andrea, Emma, Olivia and Stephanie who put on a brilliant show for boys and girls alike. At the end of their performance, they even came out to meet their adoring fans.

Isaac wasn’t to be disappointed though – the Pirate show ran straight after so we kept our spots and waited for it to begin. We normally visit Legoland slightly out of season when the weather is much colder, so we delighted to see the full show complete with the pirates leaping from the tower into the water.

Sadly our time within Legoland was now up, so we headed back to the Legoland Hotel to attend the LEGO® Friends Pop Star Party itself.

I have to say that this was on of the best events I have ever been to. The Disco hosted by Fun Kids Radio was the best I have ever been to. They got the kids up and playing games, dancing and having the best time. Isaac won a prize for his dancing and Eliza was just pipped to the post at the Limbo.

There was the obligatory glitter tattoos that all the kids got and Eliza and Mollie got colourful hair extensions in their hair making them look like real popstars.

Of course, being a LEGO® Friends Pop Star Party they also got the chance to sing with a karaoke booth. Not only did they sing their choice of songs but it was recorded and they all got their very own perform on DVD to take home too.

Sebby was a bit young to enjoy most of this but loved playing with all the Pop Star Party LEGO®.

There was also a photo booth complete with props to take some funny photo’s and it was so much fun even Nanny and I had a go too!

The LEGO® Friends Pop Star Party sets are brilliant for both girls and boys, and there are sets that suit every price range. Sebastian and Isaac were very fond of the plane whereas the girls loved the stage complete with microphone, keyboard and drums.

  1. Looks like you had an amazing day. All of my Beans LOVE Lego, our house looks like a Lego museum, even JB is getting into it now. LB has a few pieces from the Pop Star range which are great amd Curly has just started collecting the Minecraft sets. Really hoping to take them all to Legoland next year as we only managed a very brief visit as part of an event last year.
