Project 365 2015 – Week 35

Well we are into the final week of the school holidays and despite the weather we have been making the most of it with another busy week.

I have to admit I have driven through some crazy weather, with rain, high winds and even dense fog, but it has all been worth it to get to some sunshine.

Sunday was the last day of Bournemouth Airfest and despite some torrential rain in the morning it was a lovely and clear afternoon and we had a lovely time watching the aircraft roaring over the beach.

Monday was a quiet catch up day but Tuesday was a busy day with a bike lesson for Isaac in the morning and some tree climbing fun at Golden Cap in the afternoon.

Wednesday we headed back to west Dorset, but this time to Burton Bradstock for our second Beach School of the summer. I went into Bridport to the market with Sebby whilst the kids had fun on the beach, but I have to admit it was rubbish so ended up back the beach playing with Sebby.

Thursday was probably the driest day of the week and we headed in the opposite direction to the New Forest Wildlife Park. It was a lovely day out and we got up close and personal with some gorgeous piglets, some fallow deer and a very cute hedgehog.

On Friday I got drenched picking my friend up from Bournemouth airport after a family holiday to Majorca and then trying to chase a stubborn wasp out of my car. In the afternoon we headed to Avon Heath with the charliemoos gang and did their nature trail.

Saturday was Bournemouth Film and Comic Con and we were lucky enough to have press passes. It was an amazing experience and I got to meet some of my Dr Who favourites but Isaac was more impressed by the wrestlers and everyone in costume.

Here is my week in pictures:

  1. That hedgehog is very very cute and Isaac looks very adventurous climbing the tree. So many schools seem to be starting next week. We have one more week left. I best get all my labelling done!
