Anyone who follows my blog knows we have a slight obsession with Mr Tumble, aka Justin Fletcher.
I was first introduced to him when Isaac was a baby as he adored Mr Tumble and he helped teach him Makaton. What I didn’t realise is that we had actually been watching him on television for a lot longer as he was also the voice of Doodles on the Tweenies, which Callan was obsessed with many years before.
We have been lucky enough to see him at CBeebies Live, LolliBop and Camp Bestival and one thing is certain – when Justin is on stage the kids are rocking!
Justin is the one CBeebies presenter that we have yet to meet, although I did interview him over the phone a couple of years ago and he came across as a genuinely nice man.
So, why am I telling you this?
He is back in a brand new production this Easter! Following on from his first sell‑out arena tour in 2013, Justin is bringing his fun‑filled show – Justin & Friends: Mr Tumble’s Circus to various venues around the country.
I have to admit that I may be as excited as the kids to have tickets to see this arena spectacular with Mr Tumble – as well as a host of other Tumbles from Something Special, including Aunt Polly and Grandad Tumble!
The show also features Cat Sandion and Swashbuckle presenter Gem, in their first CBeebies Live! show, along with the adventurous Andy Day – Isaac is hoping he does some of his favourite Dinosaur raps.
But uh‑oh, there is a problem!
Mr Tumble’s Circus is delayed en route! The CBeebies stars with the help of Gigglebiz favourites, including Keith Fitt, Dina Lady, Gale Force and Arthur Sleep – must swing into action and save the day! In doing so, they discover that they too have some pretty amazing talents as well!
But with Robert The Robot insisting that everyone do their chores and Little Monster just wanting to cause mayhem and mischief… Will Justin and the CBeebies stars help get Mr Tumble’s Circus to town on time?
