Sebastian at 10 months

My gorgeous boy just won’t stop growing – babies do that, don’t they?

He seems to be still gaining weight steadily at about 1lb a month and now weighs 22lbs.  Now the weather is starting to change he has started wearing dungaree shorts and playsuits which show off his chubby legs which seem to draw attention from everyone who just wants to give them a squeeze.

He has mastered the art of moving from a sitting position to laying on his front, but despite huge frustration on his part he still cannot crawl, getting to where he wants to get too through a variety of quite impressive rolls and spins.  He is starting to pull himself up onto his knees now, so hopefully it won’t be long.

Sebastian is a chatterbox, he burbles and babbles away and has learned to blow kisses and clap his hands which is just adorable.  He also likes to blow raspberries, especially when eating orange coloured food!

He is very much a “Mummy Food” / “Daddy Fun” type of boy and normally only wants me when he is tired or hungry.  Now hubby is back at work he does miss him during the day but the smile on his face when Daddy walks in can’t be beaten.

10 months

He has been swimming for 6 months now and surprises me every week.  He can hold on to the side confidently by himself and has even started to paddle with his hands as well as kicking his legs.  My water baby also adores the bath and would stay in for hours if we let him.

Sebastian takes after the rest of the kids and loves to be outside, with the swing a confirmed favourite.  It is lovely to see him starting to get involved in and enjoy our days out!

10 months

He still only has two teeth, but that doesn’t stop him enjoying some more challenging food and Daddy made the mistake of introducing him to the delights of ice cream……..safe to say it was a hit!

Sebastian is still my chilled out boy, can’t believe how fast he is approaching the grand old age of 1!

  2. Such lovely photos. I love that have a ‘water baby’ too. I think teaching them young to swim and respect the water is a great idea.

  3. Our Sebastian is 11 months! And it is amazing how fast they grow. Miss him being a baby already. Loving this stage as they are learning so much and developing so quickly it is great to watch.

  4. Such a gorgeous boy, can’t believe our babies are turning 1 soon! Sebastian looks so much older than Harry though, he’s got the cutest little face! Harry’s exactly the same when it comes to bathtime, he throws a proper hissy fit when i try to get him out now! xxx
