New Ariel 3 in 1 Pods – The next generation of Washing Detergents

Ariel 3 in 1 Pods are a laundry breakthrough that deliver Ariel’s most concentrated cleaning power yet, thanks to an innovative design and unique formula that combines power and performance in a single pod.  The patented multi-comparment design features three chambers that provide deep down cleaning, stain removal AND maintain the brightness of clothes for an exceptional clean.

I was sent a box to review and my first reaction was “Aren’t they pretty”.  I know that is not the point, but I like pretty!

You simply pop a pod in the drum towards the back of the machine and load the clothes on top.  This allows the pod to “release it’s power” – the unique three compartment design enables a powerful combination of ingredients – at levels that could not be previously combined as a liquid – to be kept separate and stable until they reach the wash.  When combined with water, the film dissolves quickly activating a powerful high detergent concentration.

I was impressed by the results too.  I had managed to spill tea down my (favourite) white t-shirt and it had not come out with my normal detergent.  I decided to put the pods to the test and the stain has gone!!

I have been using the pods daily and my washing has come out clean and fresh.  They have seen off paint, colouring pen, grass stains and coped brilliantly when Isaac was ill (I will save you the gory details but imagine both ends – sorry).  They don’t irritate my sensitive skin either!

My one grumble is that the box isn’t childproof, which isn’t a problem for me as I keep everything up and out of reach of the children in a cupboard with child locks, but having seen the news recently I would worry about a child getting hold of one and thinking it was a sweet or toy.

Ariel are offering the chance to win new Ariel 3 in 1 pods on the Ariel Facebook page.

  1. I loved them, the way my washing smelled when wet and then when dry. BUT they made Aaron’s eczema come back and it’s disappeared again now that I have stopped using them. Liska x

  2. If I don’t wash at least 40degrees I usually end up with gunge on the clothes. If I wash at higher temperatures I get foaming in excess to the point where the machine sends messages. total pain in the butt at all sides.
