Walkers Mighty Lights Review

I was really excited to be offered some Walkers Mighty Lights to review as I am a huge savoury snack fan and the promise of 30% less fat really appealed.  When they arrived I popped them in the cupboard with a view to having a pack with my lunch later that week as we had a few days out planned first.

Fast forward to a few days later and finally I was home to try them, but I couldn’t find them?

We had been sent a six pack of Ready Salted, Chicken and Cheese & Onion crisps so that was 18 packs – how could they just vanish?

Hubby is a fan of moving cupboards around so I asked him first……..he hadn’t seen them but I figured he’d remember when he got home as would be in home mode.

I had my lunch and decided it was about time I got the teens out of bed and caught up with the housework, my first port of call being the bathroom.  I emptied the bin to find a couple of empty packs of Mighty Lights in the bin.

Next port of call was the boys bedroom which looked as though a bomb had hit it!  Low and behold I found another, and another, and another empty Mighty Lights packet.  They were screwed up in a ball on the floor, down the side of the bed – even in the wardrobe.  I had found my culprits!!

I should know better than to leave treats where they can be found – especially in the school holidays and both boys looked sheepish when questioned and admitted that they had been delicious – even the Ready Salted ones which would normally remain in the cupboard until they were given to one of the little ones.

I had to try them myself, so bought some more and agree that they are delicious.  You would never know that they are low in fat, with no artificial colours or preservatives and no MSG. A perfect lunchbox treat for any age!

I’ve learned my lesson too – anything that I want to try now gets hidden where they cannot find them!
