Kayaking around Old Harry Rocks

Did you read my Kayaking at Studland post and wonder what they actually got to see from their kayaks?

Well thanks to Guy at Studland Sea School, here are my boys and the group exploring Old Harry Rocks in Dorset from the water.

Old Harry Rocks are two chalk formations, including a stack and a stump, located at Handfast Point, on the Isle of Purbeck in Dorset and mark the beginning of the world famous Jurassic Coast.

It really is a stunning location to go Kayaking and is suitable for both beginners and experienced kayakers.

They even got the chance to get out of their Kayaks and explore on foot.

If you are keen to learn more about the local area and wildlife they even run a Kayak Tour in conjunction with the National Trust.

We cannot wait to go out again and this time I am going too!!

I am linking this post with What’s the Story because the photo’s tell the story of the boys great adventure out to sea, and Magic Moments because not many get to see Old Harry Rocks so closely!

  1. I so so so badly want a kayak. They look like great fun, just can’t justify the expense at the moment 🙁 Looks like they had a great time #WhatsTheStory
