Bigjigs Triple Engine Shed

A few weeks ago we reviewed the Bigjigs Figure of 8 Train Set, which has become one of the most played with toys over the summer holidays so far by both Isaac and Eliza, so you can imagine the excitement when we received the Bigjigs Triple Engine Shed to review to go with it.

The Triple Engine Shed is a great way to store the trains at the end of the day, and I love listening to Isaac and Eliza as they each pretend to be the Station Controller, instructing which train should go where as there are three directions you can choose from.  Even big brother Callan got roped in to helping build it (he loved it).

As with all Bigjigs toys it is beautifully made with great attention to detail.  The engine shed is brightly coloured which really appeals to little ones and is compatible with other makes of wooden train track so you can really build your collection.

We still have wooden train track from when Abbey was young, so some of our pieces are around 19 years old – wooden toys really do last a lifetime!

Wooden Train Track
There appears to be a cow on the line!

The triple engine shed is the perfect addition to our wooden train track and helps stimulate imagination play as well as hand-eye co-ordination.

We were sent the Triple Engine Shed to review as part of Bigjigs Play Patrol.
