Pregnancy Diary – 37 Weeks

I have been saying I feel huge for a while, but now the bump is starting to feel uncomfortable, I am struggling to sleep thanks to pins & needles, cramp and a broken Groclock (Isaac back to waking at 5am).

My last scan confirmed that baby is head down and ready to go, with his bum pushing up against my diaphragm, which means not only is there pressure below but I am finding that I get out of breath very quickly – stairs in particular are a killer!!

My glucose levels seem to be under control again now, but I am finding I cannot eat a lot anyway – it’s more little and often rather than three meals a day and the tiredness has really kicked in again.  I am finding that bit a real struggle as I am normally so active, but even the short walk to school and back is a killer these days.  My temper is also a little shorter than normal so beware!!

I keep wondering when the nesting will kick in……..it hasn’t yet and I am sure hubby is wondering when the cupboards will be emptied cleaned and re-arranged, but I have packed my bags……….finally!

Amelie

I do need to do a checklist though as I am convinced that I have forgotten something.  We shall be the most stylish mum and baby at the hospital though as we both have a MiaTui Amelie bag with our essentials in.  I have Plum and Baby has Gold! (Don’t forget for the month of June you can get 20% your own MiaTui bag by using the code BRITMUMS at the checkout).

For Baby, I have the cutest little rompers from www.theessentialone.com which I cannot wait to see him in.  If you are after baby clothes, maternity and nursing wear then I can highly recommend them.  Their baby range is full of fun & quirky or plain designs and their maternity / nursing range of clothes clothes are wonderfully soft and will take you right through pregnancy, birth and beyond.  I have bought quite a few items from them already and my wishlist is still growing!

I was also so excited to be revealed as an #essentialroyalbaby Mum and you can follow my final few weeks on the Essential One Blog too.

No doubt I will unpack, pack and re-arrange a few more times but the end is insight and I cannot wait to meet our new little man……..now all we need to do is agree on his name!!
