Have a Fluming good time at Splashdown Poole

If you are local to Bournemouth and Poole, or just visiting, finding a wet weather attraction can be a challenge.

If you have seen my Joy of Swimming post you will see my son Isaac has swimming lessons at Splashdown Poole.  Not only do they have a teaching pool for pre-schoolers, but they also have the most amazing slides!

Splashdown is an all action waterpark with some of the UK’s best water flume rides.  Spin in the Spacebowl and tumble through twisting tubs of the Mississippi Drifter for family tyre fun.

To ride the slides you have to be 1 metre tall, but they do have Buccaneers Splash Zone where little ones can happily paddle and splash around with interactive water play, or you can take them for a dip in the pirate themed pool where Isaac has his lessons.

My older children love it here and you can see why, with slides named The Screamer, Black Thunder and the new ride Velocity!!  All in all there are 16 different adventures to be had, so plenty to keep the kids entertained for a few hours!
